Sealed airbox and filter

The new airbox design has no separate lid—you can access the air cleaner just by removing the left sidecover.

HRC launch control

This special ECU program allows you to select a start mode, then simply hold the throttle open and release the clutch, letting the bike do the rest. Trust us when we say it turns it into a holeshot-seeking machine!

Central-port cylinder head

The engine features an oval-shaped centralized exhaust port, which, along with the single-muffler exhaust, boosts power from 5000 rpm up and increases exhaust efficiency.

All-new 450cc Unicam® engine package A completely redesigned engine delivers more horsepower and torque, while becoming 17mm narrower and nearly six pounds lighter than our 2026 model. With a new bore and stroke plus an updated crankshaft design, it’s built for stronger performance in a slimmer, lighter package.

Rear shock and new linkage ratio The shock has been enhanced with updated internals, new oil for consistent performance, a redesigned thrust needle bearing, and a new top-mount design. A revised linkage ratio reduces kickback during acceleration and hard braking, resulting in a more controlled and stable ride.

Class-leading low dry weight Less weight gives you benefits everywhere. And with the 2027 CRF450R, those gains are substantial.

New Frame Check out the new CRF frame. While it looks similar, it is redesigned for increased rigidity, enhancing stability and handling predictability. The updated chassis also improves cornering performance, resulting in more precise handling for the new CRF450R.
